Access to the Platform
The APVRS 2022 Taipei will be conducted in a hybrid format. For virtual delegates, you can register and enjoy the virtual access to APVRS 2022 Taipei via the APVRS Congress System. The login credentials for the APVRS 2022 Taipei are as same as your APVRS Congress System account. Two separate confirmation emails will be sent to you after processing your online registration and settling the registration respectively.
Kindly note that the congress system will be closed on Nov 15 – 17 for data merging. Registration and payment completed after Nov 18 will take up to 24 hours for account activation. Live-broadcasted sessions can be viewed after logging in. Detailed guidelines can be found here.
The APVRS 2022 Taipei will be held on Nov 18 – 20, 2022. Delegates are strongly encouraged to get familiarize themselves with the interface (Desktop + Congress App) earlier.
Following the congress, all content including the recordings of the live sessions will be available on the virtual platform to watch on-demand till April 2023.
On Friday, Nov 18, 2022, at 08:30 (GMT+8), selected scientific sessions will be live broadcasted and be available for viewing on the APVRS 2022 Taipei Congress Website.
Browser: Google Chrome is recommended for the best experience. However, we do not recommend Internet Explorer as some functions are not fully supported.
Software: Please install Zoom in advance (Free to download) as this is the only way for delegates to participate in live sessions.
Session Content
The APVRS 2022 Taipei will be a showcase of world-class scientific contents featured with selected live broadcasted sessions with live Q&A and panel discussions, where you will actively interact with some of the world-class vitreoretinal chairs and speakers in real time. Use the Q&A section during the live sessions to interact and ask your questions to the speakers and chairs!
In addition to the invited scientific program, you can have access to abstracts and sponsors pages available at all times.
The full program can be found on the “Program Schedule” on the menu bar – where you can find the session time in different time zones and all other details, and also get access to the session room(s) during the Congress.

You can find all sponsors listed on the “Sponsorship > Package Sponsors” section on the platform. Simply click on the logo of the company you are interested in to find out more about them.
By clicking on any sponsored content or attending the sponsored symposium, you acknowledge and agree that your data (e.g., email, name, country, attendance details) may be shared with that specific sponsor or partner. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact secretariat@apvrs.org.
By registering for our congress, you acknowledge and agree that you will be automatically opt-in for the congress e-blasts. You can opt-out of e-blasts at any time.
Technical Information
This platform is designed to be easily accessible for all delegates. To access the platform, you simply need a device with audio (desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone) and a stable Internet connection. Kindly note that you can only watch sessions on one device at a time.
